The title of this novel (Pride and Prejudice), somewhat makes the substance of the novel unsurprising. In the plot, preference and pride are showed both by the fundamental characters Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy just as the supporting characters Jane Bennet and Mr. Bingley.
